Services

Whether you are navigating daily stressors or facing deeper challenges, therapy is a space where I will help you reflect, grow, and discover meaningful change. I provide individual therapy services to Texas residents (18 years and up) via telehealth, offering flexible, confidential care that meets you where you are. I use a mix of therapeutic approaches to best fit your unique needs including addressing problematic thoughts and behaviors, exploring life events and relationship patterns, and understanding your personal background and culture.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, and the pressures of high-demand careers or academic environments.

Together, we’ll work to build insight, develop practical tools, and reconnect with your values—so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and balance.

  • If you’re interested in seeing if we are a good fit for each other, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.

My current rate for individual therapy is $175 for a 50 minute session.

I accept some Aetna and UHC plans. Please visit my Alma page for additional information about using insurance. When asked, I can provide a superbill to patients interested in submitting for reimbursement from their insurance provider.

  • Under the law, if you are not using insurance you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will likely cost. I am happy to provide this estimate upon request.

About Dr. Cox

I have over a decade of experience helping patients navigate struggles ranging from anxiety, eating disorders, relationship and family challenges, depression, and more. Through a lens of compassion and curiosity, I utilize a range of techniques including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, interpersonal process, and solution-focused therapy to create a tailored experience for you. I have particular expertise in supporting those struggling with disordered eating and exercise, burnout from high-demand schooling and careers, and navigating major life transitions.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking in state and national parks, savoring delicious food, and traveling to new places. I’ve moved 14 times in my life and have an appreciation for the joys and challenges that come from building a sense of home in new places.
